Child Safety Standards
Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation on Find My Partner.
Find My Partner, operated by Find My Partner LLC, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Find My Partner is an adults-only platform for people seeking a committed relationship. It is not intended for, and may not be used by, anyone under the age of 18. This page sets out the standards we hold every member to, how to report a concern, what we do when we receive one, and how to contact us about child safety.
1.What is strictly prohibited
The following are prohibited on Find My Partner without exception. They are grounds for immediate and permanent removal, regardless of intent or context:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including images, video, illustrations, animation, computer-generated or AI-generated depictions, and text.
- Sexualising, sexually describing, or sexually soliciting a minor, in a profile, a photo, or a message.
- Grooming, or any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation or abuse.
- Sextortion, or threatening to expose intimate imagery of a minor.
- Trafficking of minors, or advertising, facilitating, or seeking commercial sexual services involving a minor.
- Sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAM, including off-platform links.
- Use of the service by anyone under 18, and any assistance given to a minor to create or maintain an account.
These standards apply to every part of the service, including profiles, photographs, free-text fields, and private messages between matches.
2.An adults-only platform
Membership of Find My Partner is limited to adults aged 18 and over. Every member states their date of birth during registration, and accounts that do not meet the minimum age are not permitted.
We also offer identity verification, including a camera-based liveness check, so that members can demonstrate they are a real person and earn a verified badge. If we have reason to believe an account belongs to a minor, we suspend it pending review rather than waiting for confirmation.
3.How to report a child safety concern
You do not need to leave the app to report a concern, and you do not need to be certain before reporting. If something worries you, report it and let us investigate.
3.1.In the app
Open the profile you are concerned about, choose Report, and select the reason that fits best. Reporting reasons include Underage user, Inappropriate photos, and Inappropriate content. You can add a description to give us context, and you can report a specific message as well as a profile.
You can also block a member at any time with Block User on their profile or Block in the chat menu, independently of reporting them. Reporting someone blocks them for you automatically.
3.2.By email
You can report a child safety concern to us directly at support@findmypartner.app, including if you are not a member of Find My Partner and cannot use the in-app report flow.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, please contact your local law enforcement first.
4.What we do when we receive a report
Reports involving child safety are prioritised over all other reports. On obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM or of CSAE conduct, we act on it:
- We review the report and the reported account.
- We remove offending content from the service.
- We permanently terminate the accounts involved, and we act to prevent the same person returning.
- We preserve the relevant records as required by law so that they are available to the appropriate authorities.
- We report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States, or to the relevant authority in the applicable region.
We do not require a member to have broken any other rule, and we do not issue warnings, before removing an account for CSAE. Enforcement is immediate.
5.Legal compliance
Find My Partner LLC complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where the service is offered, including our reporting obligations as an electronic service provider in the United States.
We maintain an internal process for escalating, reviewing, and reporting confirmed CSAM to NCMEC or the relevant regional authority, and for cooperating with lawful requests from law enforcement.
6.Child safety point of contact
We maintain a designated point of contact for child safety matters, including notifications from app stores and platform partners about CSAE content, and enquiries about our enforcement and review procedures.
